EmpowHER Fitness is here for your during these difficult times to help you with both your physical and mental well-being.

To bring you a virtual Bootcamp like no other, our virtual Program includes FIVE online-classes of 45-minute workouts per week.

Three classes are resistance-based workouts led by Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Corrective Exercises Specialist and Certified Glute Specialist, Sandy Bennett. Sandy is the owner and founder of EmpowHER Fitness. She has over ten years of experience working with women of all fitness levels in a group-based setting. Sandy is a positive, inclusive coach who cares for every single member and her workouts are the best in the city.

Two classes are bodyweight, cardio classes led by Katie Wadden. Katie is a Registered Kinesiologist, Certified Yoga Instructor and has her PhD is Rehabilitation Sciences. She is an avid trail runner and rower and loves to get your heart rate up and you all in a sweat.

To incorporate aspects of mental well-being into our program, EmpowHER has hired Julie Dwyer (MSc. in Clinical Psychology) of Ease Mindfullness to lead us in a weekly meditation/mindfulness class. This class will help us cope with the stressors of living in these difficult times.

To complete our holistic approach to health and wellness, we are working with nutritionist, Gail Vaughan, from Simply for Life. Gail has also come on board to offer a monthly virtual cooking class for all our virtual members.
